Cantilever racks are heavy-duty racks with an "outward cantilever" structure, designed specifically for long or irregular materials such as pipes, profiles, plates, and bars. They are also the most common material storage method in production workshops/warehouses in the steel, aluminum, wood processing, and machinery manufacturing industries.

1. Structural Forms

Single-sided cantilever: Storage and retrieval on one side, the other side against a wall or aisle, suitable for scenarios with limited aisle width and low storage frequency.

Double-sided cantilever: Simultaneous storage and retrieval from both sides, doubling storage density, suitable for large batches of long materials of the same specification, aisle width ≥ 1200 mm.

Telescopic cantilever: The cantilever can extend and retract 400–1000 mm, allowing direct lifting by overhead cranes, eliminating the need for forklifts to "remove" materials, improving material changing efficiency by 40%.

In short: cantilever racks = "get long materials on the wall," saving space, providing a clear view, and facilitating installation. First, measure the material's "longest, heaviest, and densest" dimensions, then select single/double-sided, cantilever length, and pitch. A scalable modular system can be completed within 1-2 days. If you have specific pipe outer diameters, lengths, or a warehouse floor plan, please send them to me, and I'll help you calculate the design layout, cantilever quantity, and total price range.
